• Create a new empty VM in Proxmox, matching the specs of the original. Note the VMID for the fourth step
  • Export .vmdk from XOA
  • SCP the .vmdk to the Proxmox host
  • qm importdisk - this will convert the .vmdk to a raw file
  • The disk image should now be attached to the VM you created at the start
  • Boot the VM and tweak settings as needed
