What a day! Our team was fantastic and had most of our systems up and running by the end of the day Friday. A massively helpful tool in my arsenal was FOG, to just re-image workstations that were stuck in a boot loop. I have our FOG instance set to automatically add workstations to the domain and insert it to the correct OU. This is a huge time saver, as I can watch it's status in a dashboard as I work on other systems. We were initially told to remove the entire crowdstrike folder from the sytem32 folder. This turned out to cause the endpoint agent to stop working. The solution to then fix this problem is to run the sensor setup with flags /repair /silent /forcedowngrade /norestart. This can be put in a .bat file to deploy to an OU or be able to click to run. Also, Crowdstrike support can be contacted to authorize them to quarantine the c-00000291* file. The computers in a boot loop should then fix themselves after a few loops, as long as they are on an ethernet connection. This event is a great reminder to know how to access your Bitlocker keys in an emergency!
